Grace and Peace. Here's a News Flash! Did you know that you are wonderfully and marvelously made, and great are the works of the Lord? You have been uniquely designed and especially sculptured by the hand of God. What a beautiful or handsome specimen you are. You see your life was predestined before you were born. Even before you were in your mother's womb. There is a special call on your life that God wants to release, so press towards the mark that God has for your life leaving captivity behind and run your race at the highest level to win the prize.
God sets those who are in captivity free through Jesus Christ. And who God has freed is free indeed. God releases us and reverses any captivity that we may feel or are entangled in. He is in the yolk destroying business. He calls forth peace and freedom through the truth of His Word, and nullifies yolks of bondage and burdens that want to take us and keep us captive. Galatians 5:1 says, "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage".
Christ has set us free, so walk about in liberty not captivity. It is God who will give you peace that transcends all understanding, not man. Cast all your cares upon Him for He cares for you. You can rest assure, as a believer of Christ, that you are in good hands. You are the apple of God's eye, and He is watching over you 24 - 7.
Refuse to be in captivity anymore over life's challenges. Captivity disguises itself in many ways. It forges itself in relationships that drain us physically, spiritually, economically, socially, and mentally; in behaviors and habits that do not enhance or add vitality to our life, in continued patterns or decisions that we keep making which lead to nonproductive or negative results, and in unfavorable scenarios that we find ourselves in time and time again. These yolks of bondage burden us with the spirit of captivity, which God has already freed us from.
Seek peace in all situations. The bible says in Romans 12:18, "If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live in peace with all men. Being at peace and living in peace with our fellow man is an acquired skill that has to be developed, nurtured, and cultivated. Reach out and seek God for His peace, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to avoid getting into captivity and to get out of captivity.
Remember to be still and know that He is God. Be anxious for nothing, and let not your heart be troubled. For God is looking out for you. It is He who reverses captivity, releases, and restores life. Rise above your circumstances. You are more than a conqueror! God bless you as you continue to thrive to live healthy and be of good health.
